Licensing Models for the Domino API Engine
The Domino API Engine by SL Net-Solutions is a powerful automation and integration platform for HCL Domino. The following licensing models are designed for development, test environments, production Domino servers and larger enterprise scenarios.
All production licenses include updates during the license period as well as a defined amount of product support. Project work, customer-specific scripts, migrations and interface development are billed separately as consulting or development services.
From Evaluation to Enterprise

Core Runtime and Optional Connectors
The API Engine consists of a powerful core runtime and optional connector modules. The core provides the central Domino, NSF, MIME, file, buffer and automation functions. Extended integration features are loaded through additional DLL modules.
Connectors are loaded via notes.ini when the Domino add-in task starts and extend the Engine with additional function groups. This keeps the installation lean, tailored to the respective use case and extendable with further functions at any time.
API Engine Core
Domino/NSF processing, Notes documents, items, views, file handling, buffers, RichText, attachments, MIME/MIME_PART, logging, tasks as well as replication and synchronization functions.
MySQL Connector
SQL/MySQL connectivity for export, import, synchronization, prepared statements, result processing, insert/update processes and integration scenarios between Domino and relational databases.
INET / HTTP Connector
Functions for DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL connections, basic network communication and technical integration scenarios. The public evaluation package may be limited to selected INET Basic functions.
Additional Connectors
Additional modules such as ADSI/LDAP, FTP, EDI, GD/Image Processing or other project-specific connectors can be provided depending on the use case or licensed separately.

Consulting and Development
Tasks outside the included product support are billed on a time-and-materials basis. This includes, in particular, individual Engine scripts, migrations, interfaces, data analysis, performance optimization, Domino/SQL integrations and customer-specific extensions.
All prices are net prices plus statutory VAT. Included support hours are valid for the respective license year and expire at the end of the license period. Unused support hours are not automatically carried over. Internet activation does not transfer document contents, database contents, mail contents or customer data.
